The IBOM MUSIC AWARDS (IMA) is a prestigious music award platform established to celebrate, recognize, and promote outstanding music artistes from Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. 

The award is dedicated to honoring creativity, consistency, talent, and impact within the Akwa Ibom music industry, while also encouraging unity and excellence among artistes.

IBOM MUSIC AWARDS serves as a credible stage where both upcoming and established artistes are acknowledged for their contributions to the growth of music culture in the state. Beyond awards, IMA is committed to discovering new talents, amplifying local sounds, and positioning Akwa Ibom music on the national and global map.

The initiative is led by Mfoniso Idorenyin Idem, popularly known as Shugasound, the Founder and C.E.O of IBOM MUSIC AWARDS. He hails from Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. As a passionate music enthusiast and industry stakeholder, Shugasound envisions an award platform that genuinely represents the voice, struggles, and achievements of Akwa Ibom artistes.
